A’s Thanksgiving Field Trip

Our group of Indians celebrating Thanksgiving!

I am trying to back track and post some of the things that happened in the later part of my pregnancy that I don’t want to forget about.

A had a wonderful Thanksgiving field trip at a local outdoor lodge area.  They played some games that the Indians might have played.  They had a sack race, they did an obstacle course, they learned about indian drums, music, hunting styles, and wigwams versus tepees.   They also sang songs and colored a teepee centerpiece for our home Thanksgiving table.  Then they  had a huge Thanksgiving feast!  It was about a 3 hour outing.  I held up pretty well considering I now know that I was 4 days from delivering our baby, L.

There was a lot of walking around, but nothing terrible.  It was a wonderfully warm day.

  1. Did A paint her costume herself? It looked like it was fun..especially the sack race! The lady singing looks like she was having a blast!!
